PURPOSE: A bus terminal for city planning and a control method thereof are provided to prevent increasing the risk of crash accident and to reduce the cost by the guiding person employment. CONSTITUTION: A bus terminal for city planning comprises a passage part(9), a boarding part(15), a parking and stoppage part(22), a transport part(30), and a passenger standby part(60). The passage part has a plurality of paths(3) for moving a bus. The boarding part is protruded on the ground to make passengers get on the bus through passage part. The parking and stoppage part forms a parking and stoppage space(20) of the bus. The transport part transfers horizontally the bus stopped in the line at the parking and stoppage part. The passenger standby part forms a separate layer on the upper side of the boarding part. The passenger standby part has a passage connecting with the boarding part.
