PURPOSE: A digital security adapter equipping home monitoring and security function is provided to control a sensor, a display device and a lighting device in emergency and perform the management about the notice of the occurrence of an emergency. CONSTITUTION: A digital security adapter(100) includes a sensor connecting unit, a display device connecting unit, an emergency condition determining unit and a controller. The sensor connection unit communicates with lots of the sensors. The sensor connection unit receives the sense information from a sensor. The display device connection unit communicates with the display device. The emergency condition determining unit determines the outbreak of an emergency in the security mode analyzes the sense information. The controller performs the operation control of the sensor or the display device through the sensor connection unit or the display device connection unit.
