A keyword advertisement service method and a system for the service based on meta information performing keyword advertisement are provided to obtain advertisement profit through the service of the multimedia contents in keyword advertisement contents operating a multimedia contents service system. Selection information about the moving picture is received from a user computer(S11). The meta information of a text format is received about the selected moving picture(S12). One or more keyword advertisement object text is generated from the received meta information(S13). The generated keyword advertisement object text is transmitted in a keyword advertisement content control server(S14). One or more keyword advertisement contents is transmitted from the keyword advertisement content control server(S15). The reproduced moving picture information and keyword advertisement contents are transmitted to the user computer(S16).
