PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler for a vehicle, remarkably reducing low-frequency components in exhaust noise without complicating the internal structure of the muffler for the vehicle and without reducing the degree of freedom in design. SOLUTION: This muffler 1 for the vehicle includes a muffler body 2 having a cylindrical shell 4, and a silencing chamber 8 formed in an inside surrounded by end plates 5, 6 closing both the opening ends of the shell 4.
