The recharging device is provided with a discharge quantity detecting section (62) which detects a quantity of power discharged from the secondary battery, while the secondary battery is in a non recharged state; a recharging quantity detecting section (60) which detects a quantity of power with which the secondary battery is recharged, while the secondary battery is in a recharged state, and a recharger controller (10) which stops recharging when the recharged power quantity (recharge quantity (Wc)) is equivalent to the discharged power quantity (discharge quantity (Wc)).
