<p>An illuminating method which allows light to be reflected appropriately according to a range requiring illumination. The illuminating method uses a lighting apparatus which includes a light source lamp (1) and a straw hat-shaped reflective plate (2) having the inner surface of a reflective plane for reflecting light from the light source lamp (1), wherein the reflective plane on the reflective plate (2) is formed of more than three-stage top and bottom inclined parts (2a) to (2c) with respectively different tilt angles, and each of the inclined parts (2a) to (2c) is formed in combination of a plurality of planes. When a specified range is illuminated in a focused manner, all the angles a to ? formed with each of the top and bottom inclined parts are less than 180 degrees. When the light from the light source lamp is diffused to illuminate a range wider than the specified range, the angles formed with each of the top and bottom inclined parts are combinations of less than 180 degrees and more than 180 degrees.</p> |
