PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically provide a still image which has a photographing object with a specific movement at a time of imaging, or appropriately achieving processing to extract an image part with the specific movement from reproduced moving video contents, and to store it as a still image, etc. SOLUTION: The device compares a movement of a moving body expressed as image contents with a movement pattern established beforehand about image data of a processing object, for example, image data of continuous frames in terms of time, which are picked-in by photographing operation, or image data of continuous frames in terms of time, which are reproduced from the moving video contents. It performs validation of image data (for example, storing as a still image) according to whether the movement of the moving body is the movement equivalent to the moving pattern. Various moving patterns are simply specified by especially establishing a region range on a screen as a movement detection frame, directivity of the movement in the movement detection frame, an amount of the movement, etc., or by establishing an order of a plurality of movement detection frames beforehand.
