摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect accurately the quality of an FIPG (Formed In Place Gasket) application line, and to grasp accurately a change with time of failure generation of the FIPG application line formed on each of many workpiece on a mass production line. SOLUTION: This method includes: a step (first step) 103 for performing binarization processing of an image of a surface to be inspected including the FIPG application line; a step (second step) 104 for acquiring the first determination image by operating a logic product between a pattern image having a binary repeated pattern shape wherein a pattern position and the size of a pattern component are set beforehand and a binarization processing image obtained in the step 103; a step (third step) 106 for acquiring the second determination image by operating a logic product between an inverted image of the pattern image and the binarization processing image; and a step (fourth step) 108 for determining the quality of the FIPG application line by the first and second determination image. Quality determination of the FIPG application line is performed by a determination value using digital image data, and a quality determination result is accumulated and preserved.
