NAVIGATION DEVICE, RECEIVING DEVICE, AND MOVING OBJECT INFORMATION PROVIDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that observation is delayed due to increase of traffic in a communication area, while collecting information sent from moving objects such as vehicles and pedestrians via inter-vehicle communication and observing the motions of moving objects around one's own vehicle. SOLUTION: A moving object information providing device acquires the own vehicle information and broadcasts them, receives other moving object information broadcasted from other vehicles, and provides status information around the own vehicle. The device selects one or more focusing areas depending on priority in the inter-vehicle communication area, and if at least the location of the received moving object information belongs to one of the focusing areas, the device starts observing the object. Furthermore the priority determination means of the device generates a determined result comprising priority which is set for at least the focusing area and sender identifier to identify the sender of the moving object information.
