PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire enhanced in durability of a belt without deteriorating uniformity and uneven wear resistance. SOLUTION: At least a circumferential belt layer and at least two inclined belt layers are successively arranged. A circumferential belt layer width is≥60% of a tire total width, and at least an inclined belt layer width is wider than the circumferential belt layer width. The circumferential belt layer is sectioned into a center region 2C and an end part region 2E<SB>1</SB>. An elastic modulus of a cord arranged in the end part region is lower than that in the center region 2C and the end part region has a two-layer structure. In the end part region 2E<SB>1</SB>, a first round is wound by winding a strip S in which one or a plurality of cords are coated with rubber from an inside end IE adjacent to the center region 2C, while shifting the strip S by amount within a strip width SW by a circumferential length of≥90% of a crown part outer circumferential length L of the carcass from the width direction inside of the belt toward the width direction outside. Subsequently, a second round is wound, and then, a fourth round is wound along an equatorial plane after winding a third round, while shifting the strip S by amount within the strip width SW by the circumferential length of≥90% of the crown part outer circumferential length L of the carcass.
