PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scaffolding for construction work which is manufactured at low cost and which makes possible safe work when cleaning work of a veranda of a high-rise apartment building. SOLUTION: The scaffolding 10 is arranged in the veranda 3 of the high-rise apartment building, and includes a lower area M1, an upper area M2, and a side area M3. The lower area M1 travels on the veranda floor surface 4, and the upper area M2 includes an engagement member 30 which is engaged with the lower surface of the ceiling wall 5 of the veranda. The side area M3 is projected outward from the external wall 6 of the veranda. A lower frame body part 11 is arranged in the lower area M1, and an upper frame body part 13 is arranged in the upper area M2 and the side area M3 which is extended from the upper area M2 thereto. The upper frame body part 13 includes a pair of vertical frame parts 14, 14, a first connection frame part 15, and a second connection frame part 16. The pair of vertical frame parts 14, 14 is connected to the lower frame body part 11 by engagement joint, and a first connection frame part 15 and a second connection frame part 16 are connected to both ends of the pair of vertical frame parts 14, 14 by engagement joint.
