ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte membrane capable of increasing the durability of the membrane when wetted without decreasing proton conductivity even when a reinforcing material for reinforcing the electrolyte membrane is used; and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The electrolyte membrane 11 used for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell includes a porous substrate 21 made of an electrolyte in which a plurality of holes 21a are formed, and a reinforcement material 31 made of polymer resin filled in the plurality of holes 21a of the porous substrate 21 and for reinforcing the porous substrate 21.
