PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet type electric outlet adapter capable of preventing a middle cover from dropping out accompanied by a pulling-out action of a second adapter half-body. SOLUTION: The magnet type electric outlet adapter comprises a first adapter half-body A composed of a body 1 with inserting holes 13a, 14a wherein a terminal 11 projecting a pair of plug blades 10 capable of being inserted into and pulling out of an electric outlet and electrically connected with the plug blade 10 and a pair of terminal pins 20 are inserted, and a second adapter half-body B composed of a body 2 for storing the pair of terminal pins 20 electrically connected with the terminal 11 via the inserting holes 13a, 14a and a blade-receiving section. The body 1 has a middle cover 13 preparing inserting holes 13a and maintaining a magnet 16, an opening 1e for making the one surface face of the middle cover 13 face the outside is arranged on a bottom face 1b of the body 1, and a locking section 1d for locking the middle cover 13 in the inserting direction of the terminal pin 20 is arranged on an inner peripheral edge of the opening 1e.
