<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The element (30) has a flange plate (36) for attaching a connecting component i.e. front end module, and attaching tongues (38, 40) protruding downwardly from the flange plate. The attaching tongues permits attachment of the element to a carrier i.e. longitudinal carrier (34). The attaching tongues extend in vehicle longitudinal and vertical directions (x, y) running parallel at a distance to each other. The attaching tongues (38, 40) are respectively connected with a broadside (42) and a flange (46) distant from a front side (44). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Flange element for attachment to a carrier i.e. longitudinal carrier (claimed), of an automobile i.e. passenger car. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The attaching tongues extend in the vehicle longitudinal and vertical directions running parallel at the distance to each other, such that production-related variations of the longitudinal carrier of the automobile are compensated in an easy manner, thus permitting the flange plate to extend in the vehicle longitudinal and vertical directions.
