<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a solenoid valve from being self-closed by dynamic pressure in a pump in which the dynamic pressure of fluid flowing from a plunger chamber to a low-pressure passage is applied in the valve-closing direction with respect to a valve element. <P>SOLUTION: An introduction passage 312 for introducing the fluid flowing from a plunger chamber to a low-pressure passage 310 into an armature chamber 41 is provided, and the introduction passage 312 is directed outwardly from an outer circumferential surface of an armature 33. Thus, the fluid is guided to the surface of the suction side in the armature 33, the dynamic pressure at the armature 33 is applied to the surface on the suction side in the armature 33, a force in the valve-opening direction is applied to the armature accordingly, and a force to urge the valve element 35 in the valve-closing direction is canceled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
