PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate excellently foreign matters stuck to an ejection port plate even in a constitution of excluding a recovery pump from a recording device, and to prevent exfoliation of the ejection port plate from a substrate. SOLUTION: The ejection port plate 2 is provided with a hole portion 3 to surround the periphery of an ink passage 7. The hole portion 3 includes: a plurality of first holes 3a arranged in a line and having no acute angle parts; and second holes 3b having opening edges extended in sawtooth shape formed of a plurality of recesses and projections.
