PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which is easy for an aged person to use. SOLUTION: A CPU 110 sets one of an aged-person mode and a normal mode according to a user designation. When the aged-person mode is set, the CPU 110 makes at least one of setting for making the operating speed of equipment constituting the camera 100 slower than the operating speed of the normal mode, setting for making the operating time of the equipment longer than that of the normal mode, and setting the operating time of the equipment to the settable maximum time of the equipment.
