<p>1362688 Window and door frames MONTECATINI EDISON SpA 20 July 1971 [21 July 1970] 33948/71 Heading E1J [Also in Division B5] A door or window frame is formed from extruded plastics members 1, 2, e.g. of PVC, with tubular metal or wooden reinforcing pieces 5 inserted at each corner and secured by injected plastics material 12. The frame is formed in a mould Fig. 2, not shown, which has channels (10), (10') to locate the members 1, 2 and an injection inlet 11. The space between the members 1, 2 and the reinforcement is sealed by rings 13, 13' respectively. The mould can have provision for the formation of hinge pintles, pivots, guides and brackets. The extruded members may be tubular or solid with the ends bored out. The frame can have three sides.</p> |
