<p>The method involves introducing pressure fluid i.e. water, into an annular space (9) of a concrete pipe over a lateral inlet opening. The space is ventilated until discharging the fluid over a discharge opening (11). The opening (11) is closed, and the fluid is pressurized with pressure. A pressure drop is tested for evaluating leakage of a pipe connection. A hollow rod (13) is inserted into the opening (11) for closing the opening (11). Another inlet opening is provided in an area of upper end of the rod, such that the fluid is only leaked over an internal space of the rod. An independent claim is also included for a hollow rod comprising an inlet opening in an area of upper end of the rod.</p> |
