PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of taking out source information without turning a code image to an extraction error even for an original printed in a reception side apparatus when transmitting the code image, and determining a transmission resolution so as to lower a communication cost as much as possible. SOLUTION: The image processor is an apparatus capable of reading and transmitting an original image for which first code image and second code image of respectively different error correction rates are printed. The image processor acquires transmission possible condition, and determines whether or not the first code image is included in the read original image and whether or not the second code image is included in the read original image. Then, the image processor determines a transmission resolution to transmit the read original image according to the acquired transmission possible condition and the determined results.
