PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress operational errors of set switches of a cruise controller while improving the operability of the set switches. SOLUTION: A vehicular travel control device is equipped with an ACC controller 37 which carries out cruise travel control for controlling acceleration/deceleration of a vehicle to maintain travel speed of the vehicle at a target speed. The device comprises a shift lever 3 operated by a driver of the vehicle, and a shift gate 5 for guiding the shift lever 3 to respective set positions 7, 9, 11, 13 corresponding to at least P, R, N, D. Further, the device is equipped with a shift lever unit 1 for operating an automatic transmission 53 of the vehicle.
