PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital content with annotation sharing system capable of handling annotation addition processing to various digital content by utilizing a general annotation server and sharing annotation information with unspecified majority users. SOLUTION: The intermediary server 2 receives from a terminal device 4 a content acquisition request signal and an annotation information acquisition request signal, acquires prescribed digital content from a web server 1 on the basis of the content acquisition request signal, and acquires annotation information from an annotation server 3 on the basis of the annotation information acquisition request signal. The intermediary server 2 synthesizes the annotation information at a prescribed position of the prescribed digital content and transmits to the terminal device 4 the synthesized prescribed digital content.
