PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with a small linear motion mechanism, and a stabilizer device. SOLUTION: A rolling linear motion guide 21 is disposed between a casing 5 and a plate 12. The rolling linear motion guide 21 includes a substantially U-shaped plate-like guide groove 22 formed on the outer peripheral side of the plate 12; a guide piece 23 the outer peripheral side of which is press-fitted to a locking groove 6D of the plate case 6, and the inner peripheral side of which is slidably fitted in the plate-side guide groove 22; a ball 24 which is provided between the guide piece 23 and the plate-side guide groove 22 so as to be capable of rolling in an axial direction through groove portions 22A, 23A; a holder 25 which holds the ball 24 so as to be capable of rolling between the guide groove 22 and the guide piece 23; and a spring 27 which biases, between the holder 25 and a retainer 28, the ball 24 toward a ball housing space 26 formed between the guide groove 22 and the guide piece 23.
