PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll fluid machine with less mechanical loss which prevents a thrust load of a turning scroll from being received by a bearing for supporting a turning shaft and a bearing for supporting a rotary shaft, and which withstands a large thrust load with a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the scroll fluid machine in which the turning scroll 11 is fixed to the turning shaft 21 and eccentrically revolves, a fixed portion 8 is provided on a bottom of a casing 1, and a swing column 37 is provided between the fixed portion 8 and the turning scroll 11 or between the fixed portion 8 and the turning shaft 21.
