<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply proper DC power to a load apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 14 determines whether power can be fed to the load apparatus 3 on the basis of information on the load apparatus which is acquired by a load apparatus information acquisition unit 12, closes a switch 11 when it is determined that the power can be fed, and maintains the switch 11 in an open state when it is determined that the power cannot be fed. By this arrangement, the load apparatus 3 is not always fed with the power merely by connecting a plug 30 of the load apparatus 3 into an insertion connection 10, and the control unit 14 closes the switch to feed power 11 only when it is determined that the power can be fed to the load apparatus 3 on the basis of the load apparatus information acquired by the load apparatus information acquisition unit 12, thus enabling proper DC power supply to the load apparatus 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
