PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a gusset plate in a predetermined position without adjusting the position of the gusset plate to a column member and a lower beam by arranging the gusset plate in the predetermined position to the lower beam when a column member with the gusset plate fixed to the lower end is lowered from above the lower beam. SOLUTION: This building includes: a first column member and a second column member placed at intervals; the lower beam provided between these column members and having a plurality of rod-like members provided at an end and extending upward from the end; a third column member provided on the first column member and having the gusset plate fixed to the lower end, and a lower end plate fixed to the gusset plate and having a plurality of through-holes for receiving the rod-like members; a fourth column member provided on the second column member; an upper beam provided between the third column member and the fourth column member; and a diagonal member mounted to the upper beam and the gusset plate.
