PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify the kind of additional information added to a medical image. SOLUTION: In generating a printing image by adding to a medical image a layer image of an annotation showing the position of the annotation and a layer image of a CAD result showing the position of an abnormal shadow candidate, identification information (letters CAD, or the like) for identifying that a result is a CAD result is added corresponding to the CAD result.
