PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing mechanism achieving stable fixing and a small frame size; and to provide an optical instrument having the fixing mechanism, and a fixing method. SOLUTION: The fixing mechanism fixes a plate member 2, an inner frame 5 disposed on the back face of the plate member 2, and an outer frame 10 disposed to cover at least a part of the outer periphery of the plate member 2 and at least a part of the inner frame 5. The fixing mechanism includes a fixing member 1 which is connected to the outer frame 10 to fix the plate member 2, the inner frame 5 and the outer frame 10 so that they can be integrated. The fixing member 1 is fixed to the inner frame 5 on the back face of the inner frame 5. The fixing member 1 having elasticity fixes the outer frame 10 while imparting force advancing to the back face of the inner frame 5 to the outer frame 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
