PURPOSE: A method for producing a large amount of virus-free plants and seeds from virus-infected plants is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a large amount of virus-free plants and seed from virus-infected plants comprises: a step of isolating tissues from the virus-infected plants; a step of placing the isolated tissues in a medium to induce callus; a step of separating the callus in a certain size; and a step of culturing the callus in a callus medium for redifferentiation. The tissue is leaves, stems, roots, or seeds. The plant is tobacco, tomato, Capsicum annuum, carrot, or cucurbitaceous plant.
