The connection has a retainer (11) provided for a backrest lock within a region of a connection point (A), where the retainer is integrally formed with a part i.e. bowl (2), of a backrest and formed with a reinforcement in a strengthened manner. The retainer is partially surrounded by a semi-finished material, which forms a part of the reinforcement. The semi-finished material is bandlike arranged in or around a material forming the retainer. The semi-finished material includes two bandlike regions, which are arranged above and below a locking opening (13) for a holder in the retainer. The semi-finished material is formed from a long and/or continuous fiber-reinforced plastic and/or a metal i.e. steel.
