<p>Provided is a biometric authentication device wherein it is possible to perform an evaluation during operation using the same scenario for scenario evaluation. The biometric authentication has a hierarchical structure consisting of a BSP, a framework containing an input/output unit and a database, and an application. The BSP constitutes: a device control unit for controlling a device; a register code generating unit which generates registration codes from the biometric information obtained by the device, and which stores the registration codes in a database; a collation code generating unit which generates collation codes from the biometric information obtained by the device; and a one-to-one collation unit which collates the collation codes with the registration codes read from the database. The frame work constitutes a register unit which performs registration processing by sending instructions to the device control unit and the registration code generating unit, and a collation unit for performing collation processing by sending instructions to the device control unit, the collation code generating unit, and the one-to-one collation unit.</p> |
