<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an off-gas combustion device and an off-gas combustion method of a solid-oxide fuel cell, in which power generation efficiency is improved by reducing temperature gradient of a solid-oxide fuel cell bundle and breakage of a constituent component of a cell stack and bundle can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The combustion device of an off-gas at the tip of the solid-oxide fuel cell bundle has: a mixture suppression region consisting of partition plates each extending, so as not to mix at an early stage, a fuel electrode off-gas and an air electrode off-gas exhausted from the tip of the fuel cell bundle; and a mixture promotion region having a hole part formed at the upper part of the partition plates so as to promote mixing of the fuel electrode off-gas and the air electrode off-gas.
