PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfortable vehicle seat without loosing the comfortableness, that can securely hold the shape of a lower portion of a seat back even when a tensile force is applied to a planar elastic body, and can provide a good appearance of the seat back. SOLUTION: In the vehicle seat, a net-shaped planar elastic body 15 is tensioned over a seat frame 35 which is covered with a pad 18 to form a seating face portion of a seat back 2. A lower end portion 15A of the planar elastic body 15 is winded around the pad 18. A front pad portion 18F of the pad 18 for covering a seat frame portion 36 on a lower end portion 2A side of the seat back 2 is made of a first material with a cushion property.
