PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the erroneous detection of a signal caused by noise even when the noise is added to a signal expressing a pulse wave in the diagnosis of an irregular heartbeat. SOLUTION: A pulse wave analyzer includes: an acquiring part (111) for acquiring a signal expressing a change in a pulse wave in a living body; a first determining part (113) which, when a plurality of peak values appear in the signal acquired by the acquiring part, determines whether or not the value of the signal at the first time becomes below a threshold to be fixed based on one or the plurality of peak values, the first time being the time which is determined based on the time of appearance of the plurality of peak values and at which a succeeding peak value is expected to appear; and an output part (116) for outputting information expressing that a pulse wave state is at the first level on the irregular heartbeat when the first determining part determines that the value of the signal at the first time becomes below the threshold.
