The vehicle (10) has shelves (12, 13) divided into two zones (50-53) that are separated from each other by protective barriers (60-64, 70) opposite to radio wave. Reading units (40-43) are provided in respective zones, and a controlling unit (30) includes an evaluating unit for evaluating signals of reading units in the zones based on signal strength. The evaluating unit includes an algorithm through which a determination is made for presence of a radio frequency identification transponder (21) in the respective zones based on the signal strength.
