<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve security in an electronic key system. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic key 10 receives common code signals transmitted from an on-vehicle apparatus 20 when locking. In the next communication, the electronic key 10 extracts part of the common code signals received in the past several communications and includes accumulation codes comprising part of the extracted portion, in a response signal to carry out transmission. The on-vehicle apparatus 20 determines, through accumulation code collation, whether at least part of the common code signals transmitted in the past several communications is included in the received response signal. The on-vehicle apparatus 20 carries out various control with the establishment of accumulation code collation as one of conditions. The identification of the electronic key 10 is thus determined to prevent control of the on-vehicle apparatus 20 by an illegal means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
