PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery improved in a welding characteristic of a lead wire welded to an electrode tap. SOLUTION: The secondary battery includes a bare cell 100 having electrode taps 124, 125 exposed to the outside, and lead wires 300 welded to the electrode taps to electrically connect the bare cell to the other element. The lead wire 300 includes a welding region for welding the electrode tap thereto, and a lead region being a region other than the welding region.
