<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion-exchanging nonwoven fabric having a wide surface area and excellent ion-exchanging capacity, and to provide a method for producing the nonwoven fabric. <P>SOLUTION: The ion-exchanging nonwoven fabric includes an ion-exchanging fiber having an average fiber diameter of ≤1 μm, and an alkali-resistant fiber or an acid-resistant fiber having an average fiber diameter of ≤1 μm, existing together. The method for producing the ion-exchanging nonwoven fabric includes forming a precursor nonwoven fabric including a fiber enabling an ion-exchanging group to be introduced, and the alkali-resistant fiber or the acid-resistant fiber, existing together by using the spinning apparatus having two or more liquid-extruding parts capable of extruding the spinning liquids, and one of a gas-ejecting part positioned on the upstream side from each of the liquid-extruding parts, and capable of ejecting a gas, and treating the resultant fiber with an alkali or an acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
