<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio-controlled timepiece for improving a receiving performance when a standard radio wave is received. <P>SOLUTION: The radio-controlled timepiece 1 includes: an antenna 2 for receiving and demodulating the standard radio wave, and a receiving circuit 3; a control circuit 4 for controlling the receiving circuit 3; and a time correction means for correcting time information based on the demodulated signal. The receiving circuit 3 includes: a first amplification circuit 32 for amplifying the received signal; an envelope detection circuit 35 for detecting the amplified signal, and outputting an envelope signal; a binarization circuit 37 for comparing the envelope signal with a reference voltage, and outputting a binary signal; and a VREF switching circuit 38 for setting a voltage value of the reference voltage in the binarization circuit 37 to a marker obtaining voltage value or a time code obtaining voltage value. The control circuit 4 includes a controller 47 for controlling the VREF switching circuit 38. When a marker is obtained, the marker obtaining voltage value is set by the controller 47.
