<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle display system for notifying breakdown to a driver without separately providing a displaying means for notifying the occurrence of breakdown when a display itself is broken down. <P>SOLUTION: A controller and a video selector insert and output a black image signal to a display for a predetermined time while a video signal outputted from a single or a plurality of video output devices or the like is switched from a steady output state (step S6). When an abnormality of the display is determined from a changing state of an electric signal generated on the display when an image displayed on the display is changed between a black image and an image of the video signal outputted from the video output devices (step S7: abnormality), the controller notifies the abnormality by flashing a backlight unit (step S16). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
