PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire, securing load durability while reducing the weight, and improving riding comfortableness. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic radial tire 1, a carcass layer 3 is stretched between a pair of right and left bead parts 2, 2, a plurality of belt layers 5, 6 where the cord directions intersect in inter-layer are disposed on the outer peripheral side of the carcass layer 3 in a tread part 4, and a belt cover layer 7 is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the belt layers 5, 6. A high elasticity organic fiber cord having a predetermined modulus of elasticity is used as a reinforcement cord for forming the carcass layer 3 and the belt cover layer 7, and the carcass layer 3 is parted in the central area of the tread part 4.
