PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device enabling user's convenience to be enhanced by providing messages concerning control of a media processing apparatus, to provide the media processing apparatus connected to the terminal device, and to provide a control method thereof. SOLUTION: The control method of the media processing apparatus is disclosed. This invention includes steps of: receiving a control signal from a first terminal device which is one of the plurality of terminal devices connected to the media processing apparatus; performing an operation corresponding to the control signal; and providing an error message to a second terminal device through a data channel connected to the second terminal device when the control signal is transmitted at least from the second terminal device which is one of the plurality of terminal devices during operation.
