PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided printer having a paper delivery path and a paper re-feeding path and suitably causing an operation of separating a printed recording medium from a plate cylinder in a region facing the plate cylinder by a blast of air toward the plate cylinder, and a recording medium peeling method. SOLUTION: The double-sided printer includes the paper delivery path for delivering the recording medium 7 printed on one side or both sides and finished with printing; the paper re-feeding path for feeding the recording medium 7 again toward the plate cylinder to print on the other side of the recording medium 7 printed on one side; a blowing means 50 for blowing air toward the plate cylinder 1 to separate the recording medium 7 from the plate cylinder 1; and a blast control means 52 controlling the intensity of blast toward the plate cylinder 1 by the blowing means 50. The blast control means 52 controls to increase the intensity of the blast of air when the recording medium 7 enters the paper re-feeding path compared to when the recording medium 7 enters the paper delivery path, thus separating the recording medium 7 from the plate cylinder 1.
