<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble metal-processing lubricant which can display the excellent processing ability to a difficult-to-work material even without blending a chlorine-, sulfur-, or phosphorus-containing compound and can prolong a tool life. <P>SOLUTION: The water-soluble metal-processing lubricant formed by blending the following component A, component B, component C, and component D, is characterized in that this water-soluble metal-processing lubricant has a blending quantity of the component A of 10 mass% or more on the basis of the lubricant whole amount, and has a blending quantity of the component B of 5 mass% or more on the basis of the lubricant whole amount; (A) at least one kind of a condensed fatty acid obtained by dehydration condensation of ricinolic acid, and of a condensed fatty acid obtained by dehydration condensation of an alcoholic hydroxyl group of a condensed fatty acid obtained by dehydration condensation of ricinolic acid and of a monovalent carboxylic acid, (B) an ester compound of a dehydration condensate of a monovalent or multivalent alcohol with a monovalent carboxylic acid, (C) an amine compound and (D) water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
