摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engagement member support structure capable of reducing the effect of a force applied from a second rotary body (rotary body) to an engagement member and of reducing the rotational loss of the engagement member due to the resistance between the outer peripheral part of a shaft part and the inner peripheral part of a bearing part, and also provide a webbing take-up device. <P>SOLUTION: The outer periphery of a support shaft 102 for supporting a connection pawl 110 is not formed in a circular shape but formed to have a flat surface part 102A. When the connection pawl 110 is engaged with a ratchet gear 114, the gap is formed between the flat surface part 102A and the inner peripheral part of the circular hole 112 of the connection pawl 110 in the direction of a reaction force F applied from the ratchet gear 114 to the connection pawl 110. Since the gap is formed, the reaction force F is not transmitted to the support shaft 102. Consequently, the support shaft 102 can be reduced in size to reduce the friction between the inner peripheral part of the circular hole 112 and the outer peripheral part of the support shaft 102, and the rotational loss can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
