PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display of high quality with high productivity without carrying out heat treatment of high cost during simultaneous calcination. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the plasma display member, a photosensitive conductive paste coating film pattern is formed on a glass substrate using a photosensitive conductive paste containing a metal fine powder and a photosensitive organic component, and the photosensitive conductive paste coating film pattern is irradiated by ultraviolet rays, and then, a dielectric layer forming paste containing the glass powder and the organic component is coated so as to cover the photosensitive conductive paste coating film pattern to form a dielectric layer forming paste coated film. By calcining simultaneously the photosensitive conductive paste coating film pattern and the dielectric layer forming paste coated film, an electrode and a dielectric layer are formed.
