<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate electromagnetic waves, while improving the accuracy of the frequency of the electromagnetic waves. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave generating apparatus includes wavelength variable light sources 11; 12; a wavelength fixed light source 13; a demultiplexer 14 for demultiplexing output L3 of the wavelength fixed light source 13; a multiplexer 15 for multiplexing a laser beam L1, that is an output of the wavelength variable light source 11 and a laser beam L3 being an output of the demultiplexer 14; a photoelectric converter 16 for photoelectrically converting a laser beam being an output of the multiplexer 15; a multiplexer 17 for multiplexing a laser beam L2, that is the output of the wavelength variable light source 12 and the laser beam L3 which is an output of the demultiplexer 14; a photoelectric converter 18 for photoelectrically converting a laser beam being an output of the multiplexer 17 so as to output a target electromagnetic wave *0; a frequency measuring instrument 19 for measuring the frequency fPM_ES4 of the electromagnetic wave which is an output of the photoelectric converter 18; and a frequency-setting circuit 110 for setting each frequency fTLS1_w-meter, fTLS2_w-meter into each of the wavelength variable light sources 11, 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
