PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly and rapidly transfer data in a system equipped with a plurality of storage devices, and also to reduce current consumption in transferring data. SOLUTION: The plurality of storage devices are connected by bus to one clock signal line and one data signal line connected to a control part, respectively. Each of the plurality of storage devices stores in advance identification information to identify the other storage devices. The control part transfers data by using (i) an identification information transmission period for transmitting the identification information of one of the storage devices to the plurality of storage devices via the data signal line and then selecting one storage device, and (ii) a data transfer period for transferring data to/from the one selected storage device. The control part sets the frequency of a clock signal in the identification information transmission period to be lower than the frequency of a clock signal in the data transfer period.
