<p>Nozzle for processing thermoplastic materials has a sealing die plate floating in a rigid nozzle body terminating in the nozzle head. The die plate opens and closes the boring in the nozzle head, with the plate core, and the passage boring in the nozzle body with the plate casing, by a pressure-activated spring mechanism. The path of the cartridge casing is limited by the cones in the nozzle head and in the nozzle body. Operation of the nozzle is not harmed by foreign bodies or thermoplastic material made rigid by outside air.</p> |
