<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device shortening a time required for forcible regeneration of a particulate filter to improve fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: In forcible regeneration of the particulate filter (30), an ECU (42) closes an exhaust throttle valve (24) disposed in an exhaust pipe (18) up to predetermined opening, and controls an air control valve (40) disposed in an air supply pipe (38) to allow communication between the exhaust pipe (18) between the exhaust throttle valve (24) and the particulate filter (30), and an intake pipe (6) downstream of a compressor (8a) of a turbocharger (8). Intake air supercharged by the compressor (8a) is supplied to exhaust gas, and oxygen contained in the intake air is used for combustion of the particulate accumulated on the particulate filter (30). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
